Docker pull ubuntu always makes mistakes.

  docker, question

When downloading ubuntu from docker’s index, the following error is always reported:

Error while retrieving image for tag: (strconv.ParseInt: parsing “”: invalid syntax); checking next endpoint

Command to run:
docker pull ubuntu
Or ..
docker pull learn/tutorial
The errors reported are the same.

Have you ever encountered a similar situation? How is it solved

Found a way:
Two places were missed:
1. Add Docker’s repository to your local keystore

apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 36A1D7869245C8950F966E92D8576A8BA88D21E9

2. According to the official simple installation script installation, I don’t know why docker pull ubuntu installation always fails.

curl -s https://get.docker.io/ubuntu/ | sh

3. If you want to change the version, change it through docker pull ubuntu:12.04
