Mongodb cannot be linked after an unexpected restart. When the service stops, it will prompt “stop: Unknown Instance”

  mongodb, question

Ubuntu system, can’t start up in the morning. After the reset key is forced to restart, it will be executed.

>> sudo service mongodb start
mongodb start/running, process 1059

However, it was found that it could not be linked, and then it was executed.

>> sudo service mongodb stop
stop: Unknown instance

Don’t understand, how to do?

Try deleting the mongo.lock file in the data folder and restarting it.
