Spring 5 webclient usage guide

Previously, I wrote an example of restTemplate. As spring 5 fully introduces reactive and also has restTemplate’s reactive version of webclient, this article will show the basic use of webclient correspondingly.

Request to carry header

  • Carry cookie

  • You can use onStatus to make exception adaptation according to status code.
  • DoOnError exception adaptation can be used
  • You can return to the default value using onErrorReturn.

Summary

Webclient is a new generation of async rest template, and its api is relatively concise and reactive, which is worth using.
